CPS U-X1 Universal AC Power Switch Control Device
The U-X1 a very flexible AC power control device that can be used to control the AC power anywhere in the world. Control can be initiated LOCALLY (through the RS-232 or USB port of a PC) or REMOTELY using the built in Ring Count RESET Trigger or any of the optional CPS Remote Controllers (Touch Tone or IP). Up to 99 U-X1s can be daisy chained, using standard six-wire phone cable, up to 1500' apart and controlled from one control source locally or remotely.
Additionally, software is available that can automatically RESET the host server or the network equipment (modems routers, gateways, etc.). This is accomplished by running the software on a Windows based server and allowing that server to send a RESET command (through the USB port) to the U-X1 based on failed ping responses or a failed Heartbeat signal from the server itself (hung). This may also be embedded into your application programs.
